A variety of video games have led to aspiring developers create their own RuneScape Gold. It's not often that you'll see an original piece of work taken over by the same company that created the original game.
However, this was the case with Brendan Malcolm, the one-man team at Australian game developer Games By Malcs, whose idle RPG Melvor Idle is being published by Jagex, the creator of RuneScape (a title that was the main motive behind his own venture.
Melvor Idle strips away the graphics and 3D environments of RuneScape and other similar MMOs and reduces it into a game with a menu-based interface, where players manage their abilities, inventory, and quests. In combat, completing battles with a winning streak earns players XP and loot, which can be placed into the upgrade tree players want, while repeating activities like crafting and woodcutting will yield rewards of their own.
Malcolm has played RuneScape since childhood He has also played in several of the most popular idle games like Clicker Heroes, Cookie Clicker and NGU Idle. While he enjoyed them however Buy Old School RS Gold, he thought the genre could be doing something more rewarding in the same way as Jagex's most popular RPG.
